1. Who we are
Janani Jeyakanthan operates JAN AI and is the contact responsible for privacy questions. This policy covers janaisolutions.com, the waitlist, early account testing and enquiries about JAN AI. It does not cover a separate accounting engagement or future live tax-document processing.
2. What the website does today
The website presents JAN AI and articles, accepts requests for early access, and supports account testing when registration is open. The tax portal, document uploads, payments and AI processing are not ready for client use. Any available workspace previews use synthetic records.
Please do not send tax returns, social insurance numbers, financial records, or confidential client documents through the demo or by email when making a general enquiry.
3. Information we receive
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. We use these details to respond to your enquiry or privacy request. You can browse without contacting us.
Vercel hosts the website. Delivering and protecting the site involves technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, request times, and diagnostic or security logs. These records support website delivery, troubleshooting, and protection against abuse.
When you join the waitlist, we store your name, email address, request time and the version of the notice you accepted. We use these to manage your request and contact you about early access. Joining does not create an account or subscribe you to a marketing newsletter. To help limit abuse, we temporarily store a keyed hash of a connection identifier rather than your raw IP in the waitlist rate-limit records.
When you create or use an account, Supabase processes authentication details and we store a profile containing your user identifier, name and language preference. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic identity information such as your email and name. Account creation does not grant access to other people’s tax information.
5. Service providers and external links
Vercel provides hosting and delivery services. Our email service provider processes messages sent to the contact address below. Hosting and support processing may occur outside Québec or Canada, including in the United States, where different laws may apply.
If you accept analytics when it is enabled, Google processes website analytics information. This processing may occur outside Québec or Canada. Google’s privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to social networks and reference websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern those services.
Supabase provides account authentication and database services for early testing and waitlist requests. Google provides optional account sign-in. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Retention and security
Enquiry records are used to address your request and any necessary follow-up. Retention depends on the nature of the enquiry and applicable recordkeeping obligations; contact Janani for details about a specific record or to request deletion. Hosting logs are subject to the provider’s retention settings and policies.
The public website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. No online service or email channel is completely secure. The demo is not a secure channel for client tax documents.
You can ask us to remove a waitlist request or testing account by contacting Janani. Waitlist information is kept to manage early access until it is no longer needed or you request removal, subject to applicable obligations. Abuse-prevention buckets are eligible for cleanup after two hours and removed during later submissions.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
Contact Janani in writing to request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about retention, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Deletion and other requests are subject to applicable legal obligations and exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing information.
You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec about your rights or a privacy complaint.
8. Changes to this policy
The date above identifies the latest revision. Before introducing tax-document processing or other new collection features, we will update the relevant privacy information and provide the applicable notices and choices.
