We bring together accounting experience, enterprise and data architecture, and AI engineering to help small businesses and accounting firms get time back.
Our starting point is the work that takes too long: gathering records, preparing files, and following up on missing information. Our goal is to make it easier to delegate that preparation, while keeping people in control.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND JAN AI
Janani founded JAN AI, joined by co-founders Mahesa and Arfan. Together, we bring accounting, enterprise architecture, data systems, and AI engineering to the work. Human judgment stays part of the work, from product vision to client delivery.
Founder · Accounting & Product
Janani is a CPA with 20 years of experience as a tax specialist. She founded JAN AI to bring firsthand knowledge of tax, accounting, and finance into practical workflows, with professional judgment at the centre.
Co-founder · Enterprise Architecture & Data Systems
Mahesa brings enterprise architecture and data architecture experience to JAN AI. He helps shape how information, permissions, evidence, and workflows are structured so the platform can grow with control and trust.
Co-founder · AI Engineering & Development
Arfan leads AI engineering and product development across the frontend and backend. He turns the team’s vision into intuitive interfaces and practical AI workflows, overseeing implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
OUR APPROACH
We’re starting with tax and finance workflows through JAN Tax Portal, a controlled environment to test the experience, accuracy, and operating impact before expanding.
Agents prepare the work. People review the evidence, resolve open questions, and approve what goes out. That principle guides what we build.
